Willie Nelson has canceled a Houston show that was originally postponed “due to concerns about COVID for the audience.”
The show was initially rescheduled for March 14 at 713 Music Hall. According to his publicist, this is again “because an abundance of caution to protect fans, crew and musicians from COVID.”
Nelson was originally to perform Nov. 17 as the first performer at the new downtown venue. 713 Music Hall is located at POST Houston, the mixed-use complex at the former Barbara Jordan Post Office. It has a capacity of 5,000 people.
All of Nelson’s March and several of his April indoor shows have been canceled. He is still scheduled to perform at the Luck Reunion in Texas this month alongside Japanese Breakfast, Allison Russell, Weyes Blood and more.
