A’ja Wilson made history with the Las Vegas Aces this season by becoming the only four-time WNBA MVP. The 6-foot-4 center achieved this incredible feat behind averages of 23.4 points, 10.2 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.6 steals and 2.3 blocks, leading the Aces to the No. 2 seed in the regular season with a 30-14 record.
Wilson continued her dominance in the playoffs. After taking down the Seattle Storm and the Indiana Fever in the first and second rounds, respectively, the Aces made easy work of the Phoenix Mercury in the WNBA Finals. Wilson and Co. barely broke a sweat, sweeping the Mercury, 4-0.
Unsurprisingly, Wilson was named the Finals MVP for a second time in her career.

This was Wilson’s fourth trip to the Finals with the Aces in the last six years. They have won the championship three times in the last four seasons.
Naturally, the Aces had to celebrate in style. On Friday, the entire squad headed down the Las Vegas Strip to commemorate its championship win with loyal fans.
Wilson was, of course, front and center in the celebration, and the supporters could not help but notice her outfit choice for the parade.
Wilson’s special accessory, a Thanos gauntlet from Marvel’s “The Avengers” films, stole the spotlight among the fans on social media.
“The gauntlet is crazy 🔥” a comment on Instagram read.
“The gauntlet with My Favorite WNBA player A’ja.I Love it❤️❤️❤️” said another.
“Not the Gauntlet!! 😂❤️🔥” a user posted.
“The infinity gauntlet 😂” a reaction read.

“With the Thanos Brazy!!!” a fan wrote.
For what it’s worth, Thanos’ gauntlet has six infinity stones. Wilson and the Aces currently have three chips, which means they will need three more to complete the gauntlet.
Wilson will set out to defend the crown in 2026. She will, however, need to negotiate a new deal with the Aces now that her two-year, $400,000 contract has come to an end. Wilson will be an unrestricted free agent once the window officially opens on Feb. 1.
