In a heartwarming visit to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, country music artist Tucker Wetmore, alongside staff from AEG and WME, spent time touring the hospital and connecting with some of the young patients. Wetmore, rocking a new Music Gives shirt, which is gifted to St. Jude’s monthly donors known as Partners in Hope, took the opportunity to show his support for the hospital and its mission.
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital has been a beacon of hope for children battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases, and since its founding in 1962, the hospital has helped push the overall survival rate of childhood cancer from 20% to more than 80%. The Music Gives to St. Jude Kids program, one of the most successful music fundraising initiatives in the U.S., has played a significant role in this progress. With the support of over 350 radio and music partners, the program helps raise more than $70 million annually to support the lifesaving work of St. Jude.

Tucker Wetmore, a CMA Awards nominee, is no stranger to supporting good causes, and his visit to St. Jude was a testament to his commitment to giving back. Wetmore, who recently released his latest single “3,2,1” in March via Back Blocks/UMG Nashville, is also known for his involvement in local events like his performance at Tuck’s Tasty Tavern in Nashville, where he is scheduled to perform later that night. His support for St. Jude adds to the growing list of country music artists who use their platform to support the hospital’s critical work.

Through initiatives like Music Gives to St. Jude Kids, the country music industry continues to play a crucial role in raising awareness and funds to ensure children battling serious illnesses have access to the treatment and care they deserve. Wetmore’s visit to St. Jude serves as an inspiring reminder of how the power of music can directly impact the lives of those who need it most.
