The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 35, showed his support for his fiancée, also 35, after the release of her highly-anticipated 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, in a new episode of his New Heights podcast, teased on Tuesday, Oct. 7.
“Let’s just give it up for Taylor real quick,” Travis told his brother Jason Kelce. “She’s done it again. She’s put the world on tilt.”
“It’s been so fun to see everyone’s reactions and we’ve had an absolute blast,” Travis continued, adding, “Watching her go through all of her press tour, or radios, and all these talk shows, she’s looked amazing, sounded amazing, and this album is absolutely amazing. And if you haven’t heard it yet please go check out The Life of a Showgirl.”
The clip from New Heights was posted with the caption, “Jason is so good at asking Travis the questions everyone wood want to know.”
When asked how he feels about Swift’s new song “Wood,” Kelce tilted his head back with a laugh. Fans will have to wait until tomorrow, Oct. 8 to see Travis elaborate on his answer.
Travis, who announced his engagement to Swift in a joint-Instagram post on Aug. 26, has actually been tied to The Life of a Showgirl in more ways than one.
On Aug. 12, the NFL star helped Swift share the news that she’d be releasing the album when she made her long-awaited appearance on his New Heights podcast alongside his brother and cohost, Jason Kelce.
The news of the album was unveiled in a teaser clip at 12:12 a.m. ahead of the full podcast drop. In it, Swift asks Jason, “Can I show you something?”
A focused Jason then replies, “Okay. What do we got? We got a briefcase? Mint green, with T.S. on it,” leading Swift to reply, “Yup.”
After Jason asks what is inside the briefcase, Swift reveals that it is her “brand new album, The Life of a Showgirl.”
“TS 12!” Travis chimes in.

In the full episode released later that next day, Swift revealed the mint green and sparkly orange cover art for The Life of a Showgirl — and the 12 brand-new tracks that bring her showgirl era to life. After decoding several Easter eggs she dropped, fans believe Travis is the inspiration behind a few songs.
Also on the podcast, Travis shared that he had already listened to the album in its entirety. He was also pressed to reveal his favorite song on TS12.
“I’m gonna go ahead and just keep poking the bear to all the Swifties,” the Chiefs player said during the episode. “I keep listening to this album. I know she mentioned that it’s gonna be a lot more pop beats, but it’s just still so poetic in her melodies and her references and stuff.”

He continued, saying, “It’s just so much fun to listen to, man. I’ve been dancing throughout the house.”
When Jason pressed Travis to name his favorite song on the album, Travis ultimately spilled.
“I think ‘Opalite’ might be my favorite, though… At least now, every time it comes on, I always catch myself,” he went on to admit.
Travis also assured fans that The Life of a Showgirl would “make you move.”
