After struggling to lead the Green Bay Packers’ offense in Week 4’s 13-10 loss on the road against the Cleveland Browns, Jordan Love rebounded with a strong performance the following week versus the Dallas Cowboys in Arlington.
The Cowboys’ game ended in a 40-40 tie, but from an individual standpoint, the former Utah State Aggies star signal-caller had a solid outing. He passed for 337 passing yards and three touchdowns with zero interceptions while going 31-of-43 on his pass attempts.
Love’s showing versus the Cowboys seems enough to keep him in the NFL Most Valuable Player conversation alongside other top-performing quarterbacks in the league.

Love is only behind reigning NFL MVP and Buffalo Bills star quarterback Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs and Baker Mayfield of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The post has garnered mixed reactions from Packers and NFL fans. Others love seeing Love’s name, while there are also fans wondering about the inclusion of Mahomes.
“Should be ahead of Mahomes! Why is Mahomes on here?,” said a fan on X.
Another one said: “We really have a third back-to-back-to-back HOF QB. #blessed #GoPackGo”
From a commenter: “MLF selling us out a MVP season cause he don’t know how to run plays 30+ yards down the field without Watson”
“My baby is getting the love he deserves!! #JordanforMVP,” a social media user posted.
Via a different commenter: “Mahomes being second is perfect example how insane PR he has. 3 years of playing like ass being carried by defense and Andy while media will still suck him off for throwing incomplete passes 🤣Also Lamar at 9 is comedy 🤣”
Said another: “What????? Mahomes #2???! The Chiefs are 2-3….”
There are plenty of opportunities left for Love to build a stronger MVP case, as the Packers return to action from a Week 5 bye. On the season, he has passed for 1,000 yards and eight touchdowns against only one interception on a 69.4 percent completion rate.
