Dolly Parton let everyone know last week that she’s been forced to postpone her Las Vegas residency due to “health challenges.” The country music icon was scheduled to perform at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on December 4, 6, 7, 10, 12, and 13.
Dolly’s news left a vacancy at The Colosseum, and another country star is stepping in to take her spot. On October 3, Tim McGraw announced that he will be performing during some of Dolly’s dates at Caesars Palace. Tim will now take the stage on December 4, 6, 12, and 13. The dates coincide with the 2025 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, which will be held at the Thomas & Mack Center.

Tim shared the news with his followers on social media and announced that tickets will go on sale on October 4. The message had his fans planning trips to Sin City. One wrote, “Gonna try and bring my momma. We’ve been fans since Please Remember Me. 💜” Another said, “I heard Vegas in December is perfect! I guess I have to go see😍.” One fan commented, “That is where I want to be. Oh yeah.”
Dolly’s shows have been moved to September 2026, and fans were notified that tickets would be valid for the new dates. All country music fans are wishing Dolly a speedy recovery. But we’re happy to see Tim taking the stage on the Strip!
