Michael Bublé isn’t “feeling good” right now.
The Canadian crooner, 40, announced Wednesday that he will undergo vocal cord surgery, forcing him to cancel some upcoming performances.
Bublé tweeted that he will be unable to sing or speak for a period of time after his surgery, but that his doctors expect a full recovery.
Bublé was forced to pull out of a Marvin Gaye tribute at the Kennedy Center on June 5. He was also slated to be honored at the Canadian Governor General Performance Award Gala on June 11, which has been rescheduled to next year’s ceremony on June 29, 2017.
On the bright side, the singer will have plenty of company during his quiet time. Bublé’s wife, model-actress Luisana Lopilato, recently told us about the couple’s family life.
“We are a little weird about our kids. We love to be with our kids a lot,” she told Page Six. “When we are out for one hour, we miss them.” She added, “We always try to do stuff together. Every week we have one day and go to the cinema or go to have dinner.”
