There were plenty of country music stars in attendance at the 59th Annual CMA Awards in Nashville last night.

Riley Green arrived with his rumored girlfriend, Bryana Ferringer. Billy Ray Cyrus and Elizabeth Hurley also walked down the red carpet. Kelsea Ballerini, LeAnn Rimes, and Megan Moroney were also in attendance.
But perhaps more noticeable were those who didn’t come to Bridgestone Arena. Below are those who were noticeably absent from country music’s biggest night of the year.
Where Was Jelly Roll?

Jelly Roll recently wrapped up a tour in Australia and New Zealand, which left him feeling a bit burned out.
“I don’t like spending a lot of time in my hotel room by myself,” Jelly Roll said. “I’m in my head, I’m not having fun — I want to go home… I’m doing the worst mentally I’ve done in a long time.”
Given that he received only one nomination, it is understandable that he chose to sit out this year’s event.
Did Morgan Wallen Come to the CMA Awards?
Despite already winning an award, Morgan Wallen was a no-show at last night’s event. The three-time nominee was once banned from the ceremony and has shared that he does not always feel welcome at award shows.
Post Malone Was Also A No-Show

The F-1 Trillion artist was recently spotted making a video with BigXthaPlug. Plus, Malone has that Dallas Cowboys’ Thanksgiving halftime show to get ready for.
We Knew Blake Shelton Wouldn’t Make It

We reported yesterday that Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani would be “watching the CMAs on their TV this year.” No reason for the couple’s absence was given, but Shelton is still hosting the CBS competition series, The Road. Stefani also recently put out new holiday music.
Jason Aldean Had a Date Night

Earlier in the day, Brittany Aldean, Jason’s wife, shared photos from their trip to Miami. During a Q&A, a fan asked why they decided not to attend.
“Not much love from that one,” Brittany responded.
Carrie Underwood Was Nowhere To Be Seen

No reason was given for Underwood’s absence. She will soon return to the judges’ table for the 24th season of American Idol and may be keeping a low profile until it begins next year.
Wait, No Reba?

Reba McEntire is a judge on The Voice this season and is the star of the hit sitcom Happy’s Place. So, yeah, she’s a little busy at the moment.
She is also trying to plan her wedding with her co-star Rex Linn, but they haven’t even set a date yet.
“Work comes first, so we’ll see,” she said earlier this month.
Luke Bryan Was a No-Show

Bryan has hosted the event for several years and will return to American Idol early next year. He also wasn’t nominated for an award, so we can’t blame him for sitting this one out.
Kane Brown Needed To Recover

Following his attendance at the BMI Awards the night before, Kane Brown skipped the CMA Awards. He is currently working on a movie based on the song “Thank God.”
His recent Instagram posts indicate he may not have been in the best frame of mind yesterday.
“Today’s just another day I’m beating my self up and I’m feeling down but I will never let it beat me,” he wrote. “All my under dogs out there keep fighting.”
