Influencer Esmeralda Ferrer Garibay has died at age 32.
On Aug. 22, four bodies were abandoned and wrapped in plastic inside a pickup truck in the San Andrés neighborhood of Guadalajara, Mexico, prosecutor Alfonso Gutierrez Santillan said in a press conference. Several days later, they were identified as the content creator, her 36-year-old husband, and their two children, 13 and 7, per Mexican newspaper El Financiero.
According to El Financiero, three men who worked at a mechanic shop — where the vehicle containing the bodies was abandoned — were arrested, though they were released because there was insufficient evidence to connect them to the crime.

Local authorities are continuing to investigate the family’s death.

On Aug. 7, in her final post before her death, the influencer shared a video driving her car on her ranch. In another post this month, Garibay shared a video of her fluffy white dog running on her lawn.
