As soon as Elias began singing, Michael Bublé got so excited, he pushed his button and jumped out of his seat! Niall Horan reached out, but thought better of it. Remember, the coaches, also including Reba McEntire and Snoop Dogg, were very close to filling their teams. But then he couldn’t help himself. Niall turned his chair. Snoop followed soon after. Only Reba stayed put. But oh…how about that? “My dance card is full,” she said.

Elias sings with a soulful, slightly nasal tone and a winning falsetto. To nab three turns at this late stage of the Blind Auditions is an impressive feat. Originally from Havana, Cuba, Elias now lives in Ohio.

Elias Gomez, meet The Voice 26 winner, Sofronio Vasquez!

Hoping to impress Elias, Michael introduces him to Sofronio Vasquez, the season 26 artist who won as a member of Team Bublé. The champ, sitting in the audience, gives Elias a huge thumbs up. Michael mentions that he is producing the singer’s upcoming debut album.

Michael had one spot left. “Let this last space be for the king! For the star!” Michael added, “I’m back there and I hear a dude take a Jackie Wilson song, and you crushed it.” The coach begged Elias to join his team.

Snoop was impressed with how Elias interpreted the song. “You were really good at doing it,” he remarked, calling the singer “the complete package.”

Niall called the performance, “absolutely amazing,” adding, “we were rocking out back there!” Like Snoop, Niall appreciated that Elias took a familiar classic and sang it in his own way. You could honestly sing anything and make it sound so good.” Niall only had one spot remaining as well.
