Meghan Markle sprinkled in some revelations about her home life with Prince Harry — and their time in the UK — during the second season of “With Love, Meghan.”
The show’s latest eight hour-long episodes premiered on Netflix Tuesday, with appearances from Chrissy Teigen, Tan France and more A-listers.
In addition to baking vegan coconut macaroons, making homemade soap and putting together personalized travel kits, the Duchess of Sussex opened up about her family.
The “Suits” alum divulged details about her early days dating Harry, motherhood, the aging process and more.
Critics across the pond, however, were quick to label the second installment of the series “tone-deaf” and “painful.”

The “Deal or No Deal” days
The former actress and Teigen hilariously reminisced on their time on “Deal or No Deal,” joking that they “crossed paths … many moons ago” during a “past life” on the game show.
Markle, who was “so happy to have health insurance” at the time, recalled, “I remember all standing in line to get our lashes put on, like in a row.”
Teigen agreed, “I do remember coming off stage one day and they held a Ziploc bag open and we all took our eyelashes off and just put them in there. And I’m like, ‘Are these for tomorrow?’ And we’d all just close our eyes.”
When another of Markle’s projects, “Suits,” came up in a separate episode, she laughed off mixologist Payman Bahmani Bailey dissing the “basic cable” show.
Her and Harry’s love story
Markle gushed to France that she knew Harry was “the one” after their third date — and clarified that the Duke of Sussex said “I love you” first.
She gushed about their Botswana camping trip during the conversation — “You really get to know somebody when you’re in a little tent together.” — and later showed the duffel bag she packed for the getaway.
Elsewhere on the show, Markle admitted to making a “terrible” dinner the evening Harry got down on one knee in 2017.
“I was still having a lot of challenges with the conversion of Celsius and Fahrenheit,” she explained. “I made a horrible chicken that night.”
Wedding menu secrets
One of Markle’s guests was chef Clare Smyth, who cooked the “most delicious meal” for her and Harry’s May 2018 nuptials.
The duo discussed the fried chicken served at the reception as part of an array of “late-night bites.”
Additionally, Smyth praised the then-bride for adding calligraphy to the wedding menus in a “stunning” and “personal” touch.
The duo celebrated their first anniversary — with Smyth’s help — with dinner at a “beautiful little old chapel.”
Queen Elizabeth’s funeral
While Markle did not specifically mention Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral by name, she mentioned being in England for the service in September 2022.
“The longest I went without being around our kids was almost three weeks,” the ex-royal told France, referencing son Prince Archie, 6, and daughter Princess Lilibet, 4.
Markle noted that she was “not well” during the time apart.
Life in the UK
Markle looked back on her time in the UK before she and Harry moved to California in 2020.
“Honestly one of the things I miss the most about the UK is the radio station Magic FM,” she revealed in her conversation with France — only for the “Queer Eye” alum to diss it as a “grandma station.”
Markle also recalled being “obsessed” with Smyth’s bread and frequently asking to “come and pick up a loaf from the Core restaurateur.
Motherhood moments
Archie and Lilibet came up on “With Love, Meghan” in rare moments.
Markle, who made aprons for the little ones on the show, said they pronounce one specific word with an English accent — and it isn’t a kitchen-centric word since Harry isn’t “cooking as much” as she is.
“They both say ‘zeb-rah’ though instead of zebra,” Markle told Smyth.
Embracing her 40s
Markle is finding her 40s “really awesome” after doing “all that growing up” in her 20s and “start[ing] to figure it out” in her 30s.
The 44-year-old, who feels “more comfortable” in her skin now, said, “You have to go through all of that to get to where you’re supposed to be.”
She briefly mentioned Harry’s 40th birthday party last year, showing off the “PH 40” hats she had made to celebrate.
