Nobody Wants This has a second season full of romance, drama and even a Meghan Markle and Prince Harry reference.
In the new season of the Netflix series, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex get a shout out during a fight between Joanne (played by Kristen Bell) and her sister Morgan (portrayed by Justine Lupe) over a budding relationship.
During the spat, Joanne asks her sister, “Am I supposed to believe everything you say? According to you, you could have been Meghan Markle.”
Morgan retorts, “I said I saw Prince Harry at a bar and there was a vibe, okay? And there was a vibe!”
Lupe recently spoke to PEOPLE about her character’s arc in the latest season, saying Morgan “is in crisis” in the second installment of the hit Netflix series.
“I think the whole season is Morgan not feeling very secure within herself and very comfortable on her own,” Lupe, 36, says. “And feeling like she’s just kind of hanging on to flag poles along the way, being in the middle of a storm, just being like, ‘Help me. Help me. Help me.'”
Though Morgan puts on a good “mask” to pretend that “everything’s fine, and I’m in love,” as Lupe says, that’s not the case this season, despite her relationship with her therapist-turned-boyfriend, Dr. Andy (Arian Moayed).
“I think part of the reason this show resonates is, we’re watching fully adult, evolved, late 30s, early 40s people fall in love, and she’s right there,” Lupe continues, noting the younger sister “wants so badly to not be left behind by Joanne” as her love story continues unfolding with Noah.
“She’s been desperate to not be left behind and find her own fairytale,” the actress adds.

Nobody Wants This is the latest Netflix show to add a splash of Meghan, 44, and Prince Harry, 41. The couple had a reported $100 million deal with Netflix before extending the creative partnership through Archewell Productions with a multi-year, first-look deal for film and television projects earlier this year.
Coming up next is a special holiday episode of With Love, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex’s lifestyle series.
Meghan was recently asked if the show would be back for season 3 on Netflix at Fortune‘s Most Powerful Women Summit in Washington, D.C., and she replied that the upcoming holiday episode was a “really good one.”
“So I think looking at that format — again, it’s a year of learns — so we’re able to say, ‘Eight episodes for two seasons — it’s a lot of work,” she added. “And having done Suits for seven years, I remember what goes into a production. I also recognize how much people want content in different sizes. Part of what we’re testing out now is, it’s amazing to sit and watch a show for 30 minutes, but how can I give you a recipe in two minutes? And where can I share that with you? And how that continues to grow As ever.”

Meghan teased that the special episode would include gift wrapping tips and tricks, as she used to teach “advanced gift wrapping” between acting auditions.
“That’s not the full circle I was expecting, but here we are,” she said.
