Fresh on the heels of winning the 2025 WNBA Championship and joining in on the celebration a week later, Megan Gustafson has taken her skills to Turkish powerhouse Fenerbahce, located in Istabul. Gustafson’s team is competing in both the top Turkish league as well as the famed EuroLeague, and we will be updating this page throughout the season with her and her team’s progression.
| League | G |

She missed Weeks 1-2, so this will pick up from when Gustafson arrived and took to the hardwood for the first time in a Fener jersey, where she’s playing alongside Julie Allemand, Bec Allen, Kayla McBride, Emma Meesseman and Iliana Rupert.
Week 3 Update
EuroLeague: Fener (3-0) earned a 94-73 victory over Olympiacos (1-2) in Istanbul on Oct. 23, and sits alone atop the EuroLeague’s first round Group C. In 19 minutes off the bench, Gustafson scored 9 points, grabbed 6 boards and registered 2 assists and 1 blocked shot. Next Up: Hungarian team DVTK Hungtherm (1-4) in Istanbul on Oct. 29 at 10 am PT. Fener previously defeated DVTK, previously known as Kosarlabda, 89-58 on Oct. 9.
KBSL: Gustafson has to wait until Fener’s (3-0) next KBSL game, which will be played at Canakkale (0-3) on Nov. 1
EuroLeague Primer![]()
First, a little background for those unfamiliar with the EuroLeague, which has been contested since 1959 in one iteration or another. Sixteen teams from across the continent have been split into four groups for first round play, which will see teams compete against each other in a double round-robin, home and away, schedule. From there, the top three ranked teams from each group will advance to Group E (top 3 from Groups A & B) or Group F (top 3 from Groups C & D). The 4th placed teams in each group will then be moved to the first round of EuroCup playoffs. The Groups E & F teams will play each team they hadn’t yet played in the same type of round-robin, home and away format, with results from the first round against advancing teams carrying over to the second round. The top 4 teams in each second round group move on to the medal round. It gets complicated from there, so we’ll wait until later in the season to continue that explanation.
Turkey League Primer
Eleven of the top teams in Turkey are playing in this year’s KBSL, which plays a non-conference schedule through the winter before teams are seeded for the playoffs, which sees the top 8 teams advancing to the medal round, which is a best-of-three in the quarters, semis and finals. Similar to the WNBA’s Commissioner’s Cup, there is a Turkey Cup played during the season.
