The couple are keeping the gender of their third baby completely under wraps.
Luke Combs and his wife Nicole surprised fans in late September with the happy news that they were expecting their third child this winter. Now, Nicole has opened up about her pregnancy in a new Instagram Q&A, sharing the ups and downs of pregnancy life and revealing whether they’ve found out the baby’s gender.
Like with her previous pregnancies, Nicole admitted she was dealing with nausea, and responded to a fan experiencing the same thing with a simple and encouraging: “Good luck.”
With two young sons (Tex Lawrence, 3, and Beau Lee, 2), fans have speculated whether the couple is expecting a girl. Nicole has made it clear: “We’re not going to keep going for a girl. I don’t understand that logic. We’re happy with any and all of our little ones.”
On the issue of gender, she insists they won’t find out the truth this time. “If I could go back in time and not have to find out the truth every time, I would,” she says. “We don’t care what we have, I know a lot of people say that, but we really don’t care. Happiness and health is always the goal.”
The couple announced Nicole’s pregnancy in an adorable video on Instagram. Sitting on the grass with her back to her sons, Nicole revealed the long-held ultrasound photo, with both boys raising their arms in the air with excitement at the news of their new baby. A subsequent clip shows a close-up of the ultrasound as the soon-to-be family of five hold hands and walk away from the camera.
Their caption read: “Third time’s lucky! ✨ Baby #3 is coming this winter 🤍”
Luke Combs’ voice is the soundtrack to the video as he debuts his brand new song, “Days Like These.” With heartfelt lyrics and a melodious melody, the song perfectly captures the joy and love of family moments like these.
“Days like these are worth more than gold / But they can’t be bought / And they can’t be sold /
“On days like this / When the sun shines bright / I feel like everything’s gonna be alright,” he sings.
2026 promises to be a big year for Combs. In addition to welcoming a new member, he will embark on a world tour spanning two continents and eight countries. He has also teased a new album, but has yet to reveal more details about the project.
He recently gave fans a preview of some new music with the release of The Prequel, a three-song EP that includes “My Kinda Saturday Night,” “15 Minutes,” and “Days Like These.”
