The news outlet has now further reported that the King has pictures of the Duke of Sussex and the Duchess of Sussex on display throughout Hillsborough Castle, his official Northern Irish residence. The monarch has reportedly placed the photos in the State Drawing Room of the residence.
In the meantime, an insider told the news outlet that “Royal Historic Palaces make decisions on what they believe to be appropriate.” The person continued, “They are also guided by members of The Royal Family.” The source then added, “But the decision over what pictures of the family to use ultimately lies with the King.”
Meanwhile, after Prince Harry’s recent reconciliation with his father, King Charles, in the UK, news about the Duke of Sussex feeling like an “official visitor” came to the surface.
However, a statement given by a spokesperson completely dismissed such claims. “Recent reporting of The Duke’s view of the tone of the meeting is categorically false,” the spokesperson said.
