Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs will look to make it two-straight wins, eyeing their first winning record of the 2025 NFL season as they host Pete Carroll and the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 7 at Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs are coming off arguably their biggest win of the season in Week 6 when they defeated the Detroit Lions 30-17 in front of their home crowd.
Kansas City has experienced a major surge in popularity over the past few years, fueled by three Super Bowl victories in five appearances. Travis Kelce’s fiancée, Taylor Swift, has certainly played a role in that rise as well. With the growing fan interest, the Chiefs have launched several new fan experiences during the 2025 season, including Game On! and a series of international events in London, Dublin, Frankfurt and Madrid.
On Friday, Kansas City launched the first episode of a new fan experience called Secret Chiefs, described as “a new content series bringing together the passion of Chiefs Kingdom and the flavor of its legendary tailgate scene.” In the debut episode, rap legend and Kansas City native Aaron Yates, better known as Tech N9ne, went undercover in full Chiefs gear to search for the best tailgate meal ahead of the team’s win over the Lions.
“I’m Tech N9ne and I’m going undercover at the Chiefs tailgate,” Tech N9ne said. “I’m looking for the best bites in the kingdom, baby. Grilled, smoked, stuffed with cheese or all three. Only one bite wins. But if the fans figure out who I am before I reveal my identity… This is my episode of Secret Chiefs.
“From ribs and burnt ends to hotdogs and BBQ—KC is known for more than just football! 🍗,” the Chiefs wrote on X. “Introducing Secret Chiefs, a new series releasing exclusively on our YouTube channel.”
Tech N9ne has become a well-known fan of the Chiefs, performing at numerous rallies, games and even Super Bowl events. In 2019, he also created the unofficial team anthem called “Red Kingdom.”
The Chiefs will face the Raiders on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. With another home game on deck, the team plans to release the second episode of Secret Chiefs the following Friday.
