Jelly Roll shaved his beard for the first time in 10 years, much to the amusement of Bunnie Xo. The influencer documented the milestone in her husband’s facial hair journey in a video uploaded to Instagram.

In the clip, Bunnie shared, “You guys, I have been with my husband for going on 10 years now, [and] I have never seen this man without his facial hair. Not one freaking time.”

She told her virtual audience, “My husband, in honor of his shoot that he did today, is going to shave off his beard completely, because now that he’s so skinny — look at that freaking jawline — we wanna see that jawline, right, ladies?”

Jelly Roll eventually moved off camera to trim his beard, which Bunnie shared she wouldn’t see until the final look. “He just kicked me out of the room,” she revealed. When she was finally let back in, she had some things to say about Jelly’s clean-shaven face.

“The total naked face, it’s not terrible,” the podcaster said teasingly. Even though Jelly didn’t actually give fans a peek, Bunnie eased their minds in the comments. “Hey guys, he will show y’all when he’s ready ??,” she shared. Seeing as Jelly Roll has been pretty public about his life for awhile, that seems pretty reasonable.

200 Pounds Down, Jelly Roll is Getting Close To His Weight Loss Goal

As of late 2025, Jelly Roll has lost over 200 pounds. The singer has been on a weight loss journey since 2022, when he publicly declared he was going to “conquer the demon” of his weight.

He shared with the Dumb Blonde podcast in 2024, “I did this publicly for a reason. I wanna be honest about my struggles with it with people,” the singer shared. “I think that people that become as big as I became, when they lose the weight, they’re kind of ashamed. They’re so ashamed that they go hide and lose the weight, and then they come back out, and they don’t really know how to interact with the world, looking different or feeling different…” Jelly Roll continued, “I wanted to lose it in front of everybody. I wanna bring people along with me.”

Now that Jelly Roll is only about 100 pounds away from his goal, it’s nice to know that he’s starting to see his hard work pay off. We can’t wait to see the full look, complete with his new face.
