Rookie wide receiver Jalen Royals (knee) once again sat out of practice Thursday, according to Matt McMullen of the Chiefs’ official site.
Royals has yet to log a single full practice since the start of the regular season. Head coach Andy Reid said Wednesday that the rookie is “making progress,” but the latest update suggests his recovery is moving slower than hoped.
After being inactive in Week 1, Royals now appears to be trending in the wrong direction for Sunday’s clash with the Philadelphia Eagles.
