Bruce Springsteen’s wife, Patti Scialfa, is the Boss in his house, a source tells the National Enquirer.
After 34 years of marriage, the rock icon, 76, still “absolutely worships” his wife, 72, says the source. “Anything he does, she has the last word on, and that’s the way he likes it.”
Although Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere, starring Jeremy Allen White as the “Born to Run” singer, takes place “at a time in his life before they were involved, that didn’t stop him from making sure she was a part of every decision,” adds the source.

Springsteen values the backup singer’s input in all aspects of life. “She’s been his rock through everything, especially his battle with depression,” says the source. “During the dark times when he was struggling to even get out of bed, her love and support is what saved him.”
“That doesn’t mean their marriage is perfect — they’ve had to weather their fair share of storms,” acknowledges the source, noting that he was accused of having an affair with a New Jersey housewife in 2010, according to the New York Post. (In a statement posted on his website via NJ.com, Springsteen referred to the allegations as “unfounded and ugly rumors,” noting: “We have built a beautiful family we love and want to protect and our commitment to one another remains as strong as the day we were married.”
“He swears up and down he would never cheat on Patti,” continues the source. “He’s very clear he wouldn’t be where he is today without her and they are still very much in love.”
