French Montana is engaged!
The rapper, 40, proposed to Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Princess of Dubai, two months ago, according to a press release sent on Wednesday, Aug. 27. TMZ was first to report the news.
Montana popped the question during Paris Fashion Week in June, shortly after his first runway walk for the Spring/Summer 2026 collection for 3.PARADIS, per the release. Two days after the June 25 sand-covered show, Montana posted a photo of his runway walk on Instagram, writing, “TOUCHDOWN 🌊🎥.”

“Representatives confirm that while wedding plans are underway, specific dates and arrangements are still being finalized by both families, who are reportedly excited and supportive,” the release stated.
The hip-hop star star was first speculated to be dating Sheikha Mahra, 31, nearly a year ago, after the pair were spotted together in October 2024 when the bride-to-be shared photos of her giving him a tour of the United Arab Emirates city, per E! News.
The daughter of Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum didn’t officially make her romance public with the “Unforgettable” rapper until this summer, when the two stepped out holding hands at various Paris Fashion Week events.
Sheikha Mahra was previously married to Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum, with whom she shares a daughter. (Montana is himself father to son Kruz, 16.) She announced their split in July 2024 through a since-deleted post on Instagram.

“Dear Husband, As you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce. I divorce you, I divorce you, and I divorce you,” Sheikha Mahra wrote, seemingly referencing the Islamic practice known as triple talaq, which allows Muslim men to divorce their wives by saying “I divorce you” three times, according to the BBC.
“Take care. Your ex-wife,” she concluded her post.
