Fox and Friends host Ainsley Earhardt made an inappropriate comment about Taylor Swift as she and her co-hosts seemingly outed themselves as “Swifties” on a recent episode.

Fox and Friends host Ainsley Earhardt sparked conversation with another peculiar remark about Taylor Swift during the Fox News morning program.
She and her co-hosts appeared to reveal themselves as “Swifties” despite Donald Trump previously declaring he “hated” the pop star after dedicating several minutes to discussing Swift and fiancé Travis Kelce following social media posts from the jewelry designer who crafted her engagement ring. The designer had taken to social platforms to express gratitude to supporters.
While Brian Kilmeade, who was absent that day, had previously criticized the couple’s engagement news as a “football season distraction,” Earhardt and temporary replacement Griff Jenkins seemed to hold different views.
The duo appeared to expose themselves as “Swifties” during their coverage, which formed part of a news segment presented by Carley Shimkus.
The Mirror US reports that following Shimkus’s report on the designer thanking fans by referencing Swift’s song Enchanted, Jenkins, Earhardt, and Lawrence B Jones discussed the story further.
“We don’t even know how many carats it is, it’s gorgeous by the way, and you know, I tell you, I think Taylor and Travis are going to make marriage cool again,” Jenkins commented.

Following his observation, Earhardt contributed her debatable statement while pondering the couple’s next relationship milestone amid their demanding schedules.
“I’m just wondering when they’re going to have a baby,” Earhardt remarked.
“She’s about to go on tour again, right? Her new album drops?”
The remark was swiftly brushed aside afterward, with Jones appearing to mirror Kilmeade’s previous worries as he expressed hope that a tour would continue through football season.

Earhardt’s statement was strange, however, given that she faced criticism in October 2024 for declaring Swift “needed” to have children during a broadcast.
She was roasted on Reddit for that comment at the time.
“Why does she need to have babies?” one user questioned then. “It would be awesome if the tables were turned on her and everyone insisted she herself needed to have immediate babies.
“A.E. needs to shut the f— up!” another commented at the time.
The Swift coverage also follows fan backlash against the network for reporting on the couple’s engagement news altogether. The President had previously expressed his contempt for Swift when she declined to back him for the presidency and publicly endorsed his rival, Kamala Harris.
Audiences criticized the network for reporting the engagement story when it emerged because she was a Democrat, following Trump’s earlier social media posts where he declared he “hated” Swift and claimed she was “no longer hot” due to his statements.

Trump, who expressed he wished her and Kelce “a lot of luck” regarding their announcement, further escalated tensions with the performer when he also drew comparisons between her and Sydney Sweeney, the actress who was revealed as a Republican following her contentious American Eagle jeans advertisement.
“Ever since I alerted the world as to what she was by saying on TRUTH that I can’t stand her (HATE! ), she was booed out of the Super Bowl and became NO LONGER HOT. The tide has seriously turned-being WOKE is for losers, being Republican is what you want to be. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” he declared at the time.
