Eric Dickerson Slams Super Bowl Halftime Choice in Fiery Rant, Targets Bad Bunny’s Controversial Spot.qn

NFL Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson urged Bad Bunny to “keep his ass” away from the Super Bowl halftime show if he truly does not like the United States.

The former Rams running back told a TMZ photographer outside of LAX on Monday night that he “heard some stuff” the pop star had said about America — remarks he doesn’t believe should be associated with the world’s grandest sports stage.

“I’m from the US,” Dickerson said. “I love my country. And if you don’t like the United States, just get your ass out of here and don’t come over here.”

When reminded that Bad Bunny is an American citizen by way of Puerto Rico, a US territory, Dickerson moved the goal posts.

“I know Puerto Rico is part of the US,” the ex-Rams tailback said. “But, it’s not the US That’s the way I look at it. That’s the way I feel.”

Dickerson did not specify what “stuff” he had heard about Bad Bunny, however, President Trump and other Republican figures have also been highly critical of the choice.

Bad Bunny, recently named No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Latin Artists of the 21st Century Chart, made headlines in September after revealing that his “DeBí TiRAR MáS FOToS” tour did not include stops in the continental US over concerns of potential ICE raids at concert venues.

The “BAILE INoLVIDABLE” crooner again stirred the political pot while hosting the season premiere of “Saturday Night Live” last week, quipping in his opening monologue that if his halftime show critics don’t understand his native language, then they “have four months to learn.“

Dickerson wasn’t laughing.

“If Bad Bunny said something about the US, don’t come here and perform,” he said. “You know, don’t come here. Stay in your country.”

Super Bowl LX is set for Feb. 8, 2026, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
