Carrie Underwood Reveals the Two Simple Habits She Swears By to Keep Her Marriage Strong While Filming American Idol.rub

While commoners often crave a life of glam and fame—living under the radar isn’t always easy. With constant temptations and individuals being prone to rumors, celebrities often lead the hardest lives. Ask country singer Carrie Underwood, who apparently has to follow a set of rules while she’s away from her family—so as to keep her marriage safe.

As Carrie Underwood has hit the road for American Idol Season 23, sources close to the singer and her husband, Mike Fisher, told Life & Style about the rules that Underwood often follows while she’s away from Fisher. Reflecting on the challenges in their marriage, insiders exposed the two constant rules that the duo follows.

American Idol' Has Changed, and I Blame Carrie Underwood

Sources revealed Carrie Underwood’s rules to save her marriage

After winning Season 4 of American Idol, Carrie Underwood has now returned to the show as a judge for Season 23. Following a successful career in country music, Underwood is now set to judge a new set of participants, alongside her colleagues Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie. But this also means Underwood has to hit the road and bid adieu to her family for a while.

So far, Carrie Underwood has not only won in her career, but also in her life—she has been married to Mike Fisher for 15 years and has two sons, Isaiah, 9, and Jacob, 5. Therefore, now that she has a happy family, it’s going to be difficult for her to travel and judge participants for American Idol Season 23. But sources revealed that Underwood has got it sorted.

Is Carrie Underwood Returning to 'American Idol' for Season 24?

Previously facing a few hurdles in their marriage, sources told Life & Style how Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher have come up with their respective set of rules to maintain transparency. It’s not some grand gestures or mushy drama, instead, Underwood has two sets of rules to follow while she’s away from Fisher, that scream ‘you matter’.

There are challenges, but they are fighters. Carrie and Mike have their own set of rules to make it work, like never going more than a week without seeing each other and FaceTiming every night, even if it’s just for a few minutes.

Carrie doesn’t need constant reassurance, and Mike isn’t the jealous type. They always lean on their faith. They make up for the time away by packing in tons of family activities. She and Mike have date nights, too, and appreciate every moment.

After spilling the tea and casually reflecting on the challenges that the duo has faced in their marriage, the insiders noted that Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher have been working on their relationship. And after 15 years old marriage, they feel very secure with each other. But still, when things get rough, they tap into their faith and keep following the rules while they are apart.

Despite challenges, Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher are happier than ever

Well, it seems the rules have worked wonders for Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher’s marriage. Because, according to sources via DailyMail, the couple feels “happier than ever”. It seems that despite experiencing major challenges in their romance, Underwood and Fisher have found what works best for them and have gotten “very protective of their family life”.

Addressing how Carrie Underwood used to be very active online, but then faced immense trolling, sources noted that the singer has now stopped posting like before. It seems the family doesn’t want to “put themselves through any unnecessary negativity”. So now, the couple is simply “enjoying” their private life by themselves.

Meanwhile, the challenges mentioned above (regarding Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher’s marriage), stemmed from the singer’s incredibly busy schedule while filming with American Idol and touring. Previously when Underwood worked on the show, sources alleged how Fisher often felt left out. So now, the singer has made it her priority to find some time for her husband and kids, in-between filming.
