Cameron Brink’s Latest Look Sparks Buzz — and It Comes Right After a Major Sparks Injury Update. MT

Cameron Brink Shows Off Change in Physical Appearance After Sparks’ Crucial Injury Update originally appeared on Athlon Sports.

It has now been almost one full year since Los Angeles Sparks forward Cameron Brink underwent surgery to repair a torn ACL in her left knee. The injury ended the former Stanford star’s rookie season prematurely, and she has since been on the road to recovery ahead of her highly anticipated return from injury.

Brink’s expected to return sometime in June, which means that she should now be closing in on her much-awaited comeback. Sparks head coach Lynne Roberts, however, recently provided an update on the 23-year-old’s status, and the L.A. shot-caller refused to provide a firm timetable on her return.

“There’s no date. She’ll be cleared when she’s cleared and ready to roll,” Roberts said on Tuesday, via reporter Justin Russo.

In the meantime, Brink decided to make a change in her physical appearance. This comes in the form of switching up her hair color from the familiar golden blonde style she has been sporting.

Brink took to Instagram on Friday to show off her new locks, along with a five-word message on her decision to change her hair color.

“back to my natural color,” she wrote.

Brink has now gone for a darker blonde/light brunette look. It features a sun-kissed, light golden brown shade with subtle blonde undertones, which, according to her caption, appears to be her natural hair shade.

Fans should be able to see her new look on the basketball court soon enough. In her recent update, Coach Roberts said that Brink has done “a little bit” of work on the court, but has been limited to non-contact activity thus far.

The 6-foot-4 forward should be ramping up her work in practice in the near future, with a return sometime later this month still a possibility for Brink.
