Are the Las Vegas Aces a dynasty if they win again?

WNBA superstar A’ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces are on the verge of a budding dynasty. They are in the WNBA Finals for the third time in the past four years, and fourth in the past six years, while hoisting title trophies on their two previous trips.

Currently, the Aces have a 2-0 advantage over the Phoenix Mercury in the best-of-seven championship series switches over to Arizona for Games 3 and 4.

Jackie Young torched the Mercury in the decisive third quarter as the Aces broke the game open and led by as many as 20 points. Nicknamed the “Silent Assassin” and “Silent Agent Zero,” Young set a WNBA Finals record for the most points in a single quarter with 21 points during the third quarter of Game 2. She finished with a career playoff-high of 32 points with 8 rebounds and a pair of assists. Meanwhile, the 2025 MVP and DPOY A’ja Wilson thrived in the paint with 28 points and 14 rebounds, while Chelsea Gray just missed a triple-double with 10 points, 10 assists and 8 rebounds.

Kahleah Copper led the Mercury with 23 points, and Satou Sabally had 22 points and 9 rebounds.
