Prince Harry Opens Up About Emotional Reunion With King Charles After 20 Months Away.qn

Prince Harry has spoken about his long-awaited meeting with his estranged father, King Charles, after the duo finally spoke face-to-face for the first time in 20 months.

The Duke of Sussex, 40, arrived at his father’s London residence, Clarence House, Wednesday for “a private tea.” The meeting lasted nearly an hour.

Moments after the duo’s talk, the “Spare” author offered some insight into how his cancer-stricken father is doing.

“He’s great, thank you,” the duke told a royal watcher who had asked how the monarch, 76, is doing, after the meeting.

Harry’s rep told The Post: “He’s obviously loved being back in the UK, catching up with old friends, colleagues, and just generally being able to support the incredible work of the causes that mean so much to him.”

The Invictus Games founder was whisked away to host an Invictus Horizons event in central London, where he met with supporters and community members.

Harry’s arrival was delayed after his black SUV was caught in traffic due to subway strikes in London.

“I think this whole thing has been delayed slightly, so at this point you’re all hammered — which was part of the plan all along, stuck up here at the top of the Gherkin,” he quipped shortly after his arrival.

Notably missing from the reunion was Prince William, who has not spoken to Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, for years.

It’s understood that Charles felt uncomfortable seeing Harry during his court case against the UK government to win back taxpayer-funded security for him and his family.

After the duke lost his appeal earlier this year, he told the BBC that his father “won’t speak to me because of this security stuff” — though he admitted he “would love to reconcile” with his family.

“Life is precious. I don’t know how much longer my father has,” he said of Charles, who was diagnosed with cancer last year.

It remains to be seen if the duke is welcomed back into the royal fold.

After touching down in London Monday, Harry was driven to St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle to pay tribute to his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, on the third anniversary of her death.
