Sean “Diddy” Combs marked his 56th birthday at the Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix, while serving a 50-month sentence after being convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

On his birthday, Tuesday, Nov. 4, Diddy — along with the other inmates — was breakfast, lunch and dinner consisting of choices like cereal, pasta and pizza, per the planned food menu from the prison that PEOPLE obtained.

Breakfast, served at around 6:30 a.m., included fruit, a choice between bran flakes and breakfast cake or whole wheat bread and two jelly packets. The dishes were served with skim milk, margarine spread and sugar-substitute packets.

Lunch, served from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., included the choice between chicken parmesan or a chickpea burger, along with a beverage.

The lunch plate included pasta with marinara sauce and spinach as sides, along with the choice between garlic bread or whole wheat bread. Inmates also had the option of choosing between fruit or dessert.

The dinner plate, served around 4:30 p.m., offered a choice between cheese pizza or navy beans. The two were served alongside an Italian pasta salad, green beans and a garden salad. Inmates were given assorted dressing options and a beverage.

The New Jersey correctional center’s commissary list offered him the option to purchase a sweet snack. Items on the list included cheese cake squares for $1.07, honey buns for $1.30, Pop-Tarts for $2.85 or a smorgasbord of cookies ranging from $1.95 to $2.60.

One item that the commissary list does not include is applesauce, which his lawyer and one witness testified Combs loves and would put on his cheeseburgers.

Combs was transferred to FCI Fort Dix on Oct. 30, and he is staying in a dormitory-style cell with other inmates.

The correctional center, located on a military base about 40 miles outside Philadelphia, became Combs’ home after his attorneys complained about the conditions at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn.

They also requested that Combs be moved to Fort Dix because of its access to drug rehabilitation programs.

The disgraced music mogul had been incarcerated at the MDC since his arrest in September 2024.

In October, Combs was sentenced to 50 months in prison by U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian after being convicted in July.

As of today’s writing, the Bureau of Prisons website lists Combs’ release date as May 8, 2028, which suggests he may be let out early for good behavior.

Combs’ lawyer, Alexandra Shapiro, filed a two-page court document on Monday, Oct. 20, intending to appeal his conviction. On Nov. 3, his expedited appeal was granted by U.S. Circuit Court Judge Beth Robinson. The oral arguments will be heard in April 2026.
