Bunnie Xo shared a candid conversation about her IVF journey on the latest episode of her podcast, Dumb Blonde.
Maury Povich joined Bunnie Xo as a special guest, and in part, spoke about his and wife’s Connie Chung’s”meaningful adoption journey,” Bunnie noted while describing the episode. Povich noted that before they adopted, he and Chung went through a similar IVF process that Bunnie and her husband, reigning iHeartRadio Music Awards Country Artist of the Year Jelly Roll, are going through now.

“It is tough, but at the same time it’s like, you just put it in God’s hands,” the Dumb Blonde host said of her IVF journey. “If it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be. And if not, we can always adopt.
“I’m totally open to adoption too, and so is my husband,” she shared.

Jelly Roll was first to share that he and his wife were “talking about having a baby,” while talking about his health and fitness transformation on Bussin’ With The Boys. Bunnie said at that time, “God willing, Baby DeFord 2026.” Bunnie Xo has previously opened up about her ongoing IVF journey, including the “gross” comments she’s received online and getting honest about how “isolating” it can feel. In June, Bunnie shared an emotional moment: “When you just got the call you’ve ben waiting on for 5 months since this IVF journey started. All the tears, the hopelessness & the struggle, God finally said ‘Here.’” She clarified that “this is not a pregnancy announcement- we won’t announce that. This is just a huge huge win for us 🙏🏼🤍💫✨”
