Donald Trump has once again referred to Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett as “a low IQ individual,” this time during his 60 Minutes interview with Noah O’Donnell—prompting Jimmy Kimmel to remind the president that his televised IQ challenge is still on the table.

“He keeps saying that,” Kimmel said after playing the 60 Minutes clip. “And there’s only one way to find out. I have very generously, for a whole week now, offered to host, produce, and/or promote a live televised IQ contest between our stable genius president and Jasmine Crockett, who he thinks so little of.”
Kimmel noted that Crockett has already accepted the challenge. But, as he told his audience, “We still don’t have an answer from Donald Trump. I know he knows about it—I said it on TV. I am very serious about this.”
He even unveiled a new super-sized trophy for the proposed showdown (inscribed with the words “atrophy of the brain”): “We have now the biggest trophy in the history of mankind. Look at the size of that thing. Can you imagine that beauty on the White House lawn? A physical testament to Donald Trump’s intelligence.”

“Come and get it, Mr. President,” Kimmel added. “You know you want it. You could fill it with bubbles and bathe in it! You can’t do that with the Nobel Prize.”
Kimmel’s remarks were the latest in a saga that began a week ago, after Trump bragged about the results of what he referred to as an IQ test—in reality, it appears to have been a dementia screening—but Trump insisted he’d “aced” it and claimed that Democrats like Crockett and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez couldn’t do the same.
