A popular Vancouver spot recently shared the heartwarming backstory behind a scene from a TV show involving Michael Bublé and Eugene Levy.
We recently shared how Levy and Bublé were at Grouse Mountain for their Apple TV+ show, The Reluctant Traveler.
Now, Bacchus Restaurant and the Wedgewood Hotel and Spa are dishing on a moment that aired on the show last Friday involving the pair and some of the history behind it.
“We had the absolute privilege of welcoming @michaelbuble and Eugene Levy @bacchusvancouver this season for The Reluctant Traveler,” Wedgewood Hotel and Spa and Bacchus Restaurant said in an Instagram post.

“The two Canadian legends shared an unforgettable moment at our piano, with laughter, song, and a touch of nostalgia weaving through every note.”
For Bublé, the moment would have been extra sweet, according to some additional insight that Bacchus provided.
“For Michael, the moment was especially meaningful, as Bacchus was one of the very first stages where he sang at just 17 years old.”
The post goes on to say that the episode of the show captures Vancouver “in all its glory,” including mountain views, the city’s history, and unique spots that make the city special.
“It was an honour to host Michael, Eugene, and the incredible production team at Two Four Productions. Their warmth, and professionalism made every moment a delight.”

The Instagram post received many reactions and comments.
“So happy to see the beloved Wedgewood getting her much deserved flowers,” one of Wedgewood’s followers said.

A local musician also had some kind things to say about the location.
“So cool! Can’t wait to watch the episode! I’m so honoured to perform regularly on that grand piano at beautiful Bacchus.”
As the name would imply, The Reluctant Traveler is about Levy, who prefers to be a homebody, facing his fears of travel and deciding to see more of the world.
