Queen Elizabeth’s strict instructions for her beloved corgis

Upon the death of the late Queen Elizabeth II in 2022, her beloved corgis were left to her son, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson. But looking after the pets was no mean feat, as the pooches came with a long list of strict instructions, especially when it came to their eating habits.

The late Queen’s two surviving corgis, Muick and Sandy, were raised on a diet of beef, corn-fed chicken, lamb and rabbit, which was prepared especially each day by the cavalry of royal chefs.

Now, as Andrew prepares to move out of the royal residence, it’s been confirmed that the corgis will be staying in the family, but it’s not clear if it will be Andrew, Sarah or Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice who will give them a home.
