The Battles officially wrapped on The Voice Season 28 Knockouts, closing out an emotional and electric round of head-to-head performances from Team Michael BubléTeam Snoop DoggTeam Niall Horan, and Team Reba McEntire. But the night didn’t stop there  The Voice Season 28 Knockouts kicked off immediately, raising the stakes with some of the most personal performances of the season so far.

This time, the artists choose their own songs while the coaches set the matchups. There are no steals or saves during The Voice Season 28 Knockouts — only one artist moves forward. And for the first time, each coach can use the new “Mic Drop” button to nominate one of their Knockout winners for a special performance at the Rose Parade, with the final vote coming from the audience.

Music legends Joe Walsh and Zac Brown stepped in as this season’s “mega mentors,” helping artists fine-tune their performances ahead of the live shows. As The Voice Knockouts continue, the competition is already pushing contestants to deliver their most powerful performances yet.

Jerrell Melton vs. Ralph Edwards — Team Snoop

Both singers delivered a powerful battle during The Voice Season 28 Knockouts, showcasing very different strengths. Jerrell leaned into smooth, clean vocals while Ralph came in with grit and energy that got the crowd going. The coaches praised the chemistry between the two performers.
