Kierstan Bell celebrated with her Las Vegas Aces teammates on the court as they clinched their third WNBA title in four years. This victory marked another triumph for the former FGCU star, adding another championship to her already impressive resume.
“I can’t believe this is my life honestly,” said Bell. “And when you win championships, that’s on your resume for life.”
When asked about what made this championship special, Bell shared her personal growth and involvement with the team.
“I think just obviously being a part of it, really being a part of it,” said Bell. “Me and Becky talked a little bit this is really your first time actually really playing and I’m like yeah. I mean my first two years I didn’t even have to do nothing and I got two rings.”

Off the court, Bell faced personal challenges, dealing with the loss of her friend, her uncle, and her father, Perry, whom she reunited with in 2023 after his release from prison.
“It was just hard. It was a low point in my life,” said Bell. “You know dealing with a lot at one time and then on top of that the game that you love is not going the way you want. So yeah it put me in a dark place.”
Support from her family, friends, and teammates helped Bell navigate through her grief.
“They’re going to be honest with you and tell you the things you don’t really want to hear but that you need to hear,” said Bell. “We have a group chat with my aunts and my mom. They send little goofy stuff or old pictures just things that lighten your mood.”
Bell expressed amazement at her achievements, being part of a team that consistently wins.
“It’s crazy enough to even say I have three rings,” said Bell. “And I haven’t even really started my career. I mean four years feel like it flew by but I mean when you’re winning so often, you just want to come back every year and win it again and again and again.”
