Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes isn’t only winning on the football field, he’s also scoring big off it.
After leading the Chiefs to a 31–0 win over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 7, Mahomes turned his attention to something even more meaningful: giving back to the community.
During the sixth annual “15 and the Mahomies” gala held on Monday at the Kansas City Convention Center, Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, helped raise over $1.5 million for local charities. The money will support more than 20 youth-focused organizations throughout Kansas City and beyond.
The foundation, founded in 2019, focuses on improving the lives of children by funding programs related to health, wellness and community development.
“15 and the Mahomies just keeps getting better,” Brittany Mahomes shared on Instagram after the event. “Thank you to everyone who continues to show up and help us make an impact in the world.”
Her husband’s brother, Jackson Mahomes, was quick to react in the comments, proudly writing, “Love what you guys have accomplished!! ”
Chiefs Star Patrick Mahomes Continues to Shine
The timing of the event couldn’t have been more fitting. Just a day before the gala, Patrick Mahomes led the Chiefs to a dominant victory against the Raiders, throwing for 286 yards and three touchdowns. It marked another strong performance for the two-time MVP, who now has 14 touchdowns and 1,800 passing yards on the season.
Off the field, his foundation’s milestone proves his leadership extends far beyond football. Established shortly after Mahomes signed his 10-year, $450 million contract, the foundation has grown rapidly, becoming one of the NFL’s most active player-led charities.

During the event, Mahomes shared his gratitude toward everyone who made the night possible, from donors and sponsors to the volunteers who helped run the event. The crowd of over 900 guests included teammates, coaches and several community leaders.
According to the foundation’s announcement, the funds raised will go directly toward 27 local charities, ensuring continued support for children in underprivileged situations.
Patrick and Brittany Mahomes attended the event together, turning it into a night of purpose and celebration. The couple arrived in style, with Brittany Mahomes wearing a sleek gray asymmetrical dress and Patrick Mahomes donning a classic dark suit.
The two posed with guests and supporters, including Chiefs head coach Andy Reid and his wife, Tammy Reid, before the dinner and auction began.
Throughout the night, attendees celebrated the foundation’s achievements, including its Volunteer for 15 initiative, which inspired kids to contribute nearly 93,000 hours of community service across the globe.
The Mahomes family has made it clear that their efforts won’t stop here. Brittany Mahomes confirmed they plan to continue hosting the gala every two years, with the next one already scheduled for 2026.
As Patrick Mahomes prepares to lead the Chiefs against the Washington Commanders next week, his achievements off the field continue to define his leadership and influence.
