Sadie Dahl found a new home on Team Niall!
During the Tuesday, Oct. 14 episode of The Voice, Dahl competed against fellow Team Snoop contestant Toni Lorene in the Battles. Together, they sang Rihanna’s “Love on the Brain” — and left the rapper with a tough decision to make.
“I was having a tough time when ya’ll picked each other. Let me say it to y’alls face. Because I’ve been saying it behind ya’ll back,” Snoop, 53, began. “Why the hell did ya’ll pick each other? Ya’ll made it very, very hard on me, which, that’s what I wanted. I wanted excellence tonight.”
He continued, “I wanted perfection. I wanted you guys to push yourself to the next level and to show that you guys are actually The Voice.”
When host Carson Daly asked Snoop to decide on the winner, he paused and asked the “gangster holy ghost” for guidance.
“The winner of this battle is Toni,” he said. “Toni was just spectacular. What I loved about Toni was her precision at hitting those notes. Striking up and letting everybody know that it was a battle. Just having that star power that you can’t teach… She’s the whole package. The look, the feel, the sound and the spirit.”

Afterward, Daly let the other coaches know that Dahl was available for a steal — and she delivered some parting words for Snoop.
“Snoop, it has been the coolest thing ever to be able to hear your feedback,” she said. “I feel like you’ve given me the confidence that I need as an artist.”
Then, the “This Town” singer, 32, chimed in.
“Sadie, I know you had a good time working with Snoop — but it’s time to come home,” he said as he pressed his steal button, causing Dahl to jump up and down in excitement.
“Sadie, Sadie, Sadie. She’s shown that she can pretty much sing anything,” Horan later added. “Snoop couldn’t make a bad decision there. Thank God he chose Toni because I’ve been waiting for Sadie.”
Meanwhile, Snoop admitted he couldn’t “complain” because Dahl is in “great hands.”
“She fits right in,” Horan added. “Something I don’t have. A big powerful voice like that… The Voice gods have spoken and its time for Sadie to come to Team Niall.”
The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. All episodes are available to stream the following day on Peacock.
