Steelers’ Cameron Heyward Hilariously Names the Rodgers–Flacco Showdown the “Battle of the Uncs”.mh

joe flacco aaron rodgersThe Week 7 Thursday Night Football game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals will feature a pair of quarterbacks, Aaron Rodgers and Joe Flacco, with a combined age of 81-years-old. As such, Steelers defensive tackle Cameron Heyward hilariously and aptly named the upcoming matchup the “Icy Hot Bowl.”

While the 41-year-old Aaron Rodgers — who will be turning 42 in December — was fielding questions from a scrum of reporters, Heyward shouted from the background: “Oldest quarterbacks playing this week, let’s go — Icy Hot Bowl, I love it!”

Steelers defensive tackle Cameron Heyward dubs the matchup between Aaron Rodgers and Joe Flacco the “IcyHot Bowl”

Icy Hot is a topical pain reliever that uses an over-the-counter combination of cooling and warming sensations to lessen pain from minor aches like muscle soreness, strains, sprains, and arthritis, thus making it a popular product with aging athletes.

“It’s great for all of the old guys,” Rodgers said of the matchup after Heyward’s barb.

“I know that when I watch other sports, maybe it’s because I’m the older guy, but I tend to pull for the older guys to win, win championships. I’ve been friends with (Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry) for a long time. Steph is one of the older guys in the NBA now, so any time the Warriors are playing, I’m always pulling for Steph to ball out, for them to win.”
