
The Mariners and Blue Jays will play Game 1 of the ALCS on Sunday at 8:03 p.m. at Rogers Centre.
The Dodgers and Brewers will play Game 1 of the NLCS at 8:08 p.m. on Monday at American Family Field.
Below are the former Red Sox players who advanced to the ALCS and NLCS:
Mookie Betts, Dodgers: The 33-year-old had his worst season of his career in 2025. His .732 OPS was 149 points below his career mark (.881). But he’s enjoying a terrific postseason, batting .385 (10-for-26) with a .429 on-base percentage, .577 slugging percentage, three doubles, one triple and four RBIs in six games.
Kiké Hernández, Dodgers: The 34-year-old is known for stepping up his play in the postseason. He has an .869 OPS in 92 career playoff games. He’s 7-for-22 (.318) with a .400 on-base percentage, two doubles and four RBIs in six games this October.
Michael Kopech, Dodgers: The 29-year-old righty hasn’t pitched in the postseason after dealing with a right shoulder impingement and right knee inflammation that limited him to 11 innings during the regular season. Kopech was part of the package to the White Sox that helped the Red Sox land Chris Sale.
Quinn Priester, Brewers: The 25-year-old right-handed starter recorded just two outs against the Cubs in Game 3 of the ALDS, allowing four runs, three hits and two walks while striking out one. Boston traded him to Milwaukee on April 7 and he put together a strong regular season, going 13-3 with a 3.32 ERA, 4.01 FIP and 1.24 WHIP in 29 outings (24 starts).
Danny Jansen, Brewers: The 30-year-old Brewers backup catcher, who spent the final two months of 2024 with the Red Sox, hasn’t appeared in a game this postseason. He posted a .720 OPS, 14 home runs, 11 doubles and 36 RBIs in 98 games (337 plate appearances) between the Rays and Brewers this season.
Tyler Heineman, Blue Jays: The 34-year-old has not yet appeared in a postseason game for Toronto as their backup catcher. He posted a .289/.361/.416/.777 line with three homers, eight doubles, one triple and 20 RBIs in 64 games (174 plate appearances) for Toronto during the regular season.
Eduard Bazardo, Mariners: The 30-year-old Venezuelan native was among the heroes in Game 5 of the ALDS vs. the Tigers. He pitched 2.2 scoreless innings in Seattle’s 15-inning victory. The righty went 5-0 with a 2.52 ERA, 1.02 WHIP, 12 holds and a .189 batting average against in 73 outings (78 ⅔ innings) for the Mariners during the regular season. He has allowed three runs in six innings for the playoffs.
Gabe Speier, Mariners: The 30-year-old righty was part of the trade package sent to the Tigers for Rick Porcello in December 2014. He has allowed three runs in four innings for the Mariners this postseason. He posted a 2.61 ERA, 0.87 WHIP and .192 batting average against in 76 relief outings this season.
