Pete Carroll Confirms What Raiders Fans Feared — Harsh Brock Bowers Update Before Titans Game.tl

The Las Vegas Raiders are currently 1-4 on the season, and the team is continuing to find it hard to get their offense going against quality opponents. One of the biggest issues is star tight end Brock Bowers dealing with a lingering knee injury that has led to low production.

Bowers suffered a knee injury in Week 1 after a shot to his knee left him limping off the field. He had already secured 108 yards in the game before the injury occurred.

Following Week 1, Bowers appeared on the injury report, but managed to play in Week 2. That was also the case for Weeks 3 and 4. The issue is that the knee injury has clearly impacted him.

Bowers has yet to break 50 yards receiving since the injury occurred. His knee also got worse, resulting in his having to miss Week 5. Now, Raiders head coach Pete Carroll has revealed some tough news on Bowers ahead of Week 6.

Carroll told reporters that Bowers is set to miss another game due to the knee injury. This could become a very troubling development if it continues to linger through the season. At the very least, Las Vegas is taking their time with the star tight end.

Bowers exploded in 2024, putting together 112 receptions for 1,194 yards and five touchdowns. His 112 receptions broke the NFL record for most receptions by a rookie. He was also named an All-Pro and Pro Bowler in his first season.

The hope for 2025 was that the Raiders’ star would pick up right where he left off. That did appear to be the case in Week 1, but the knee injury has impacted him in a significant way.

Carroll and the Raiders must now be patient in his recovery and allow the star tight end to fully heal before he takes the field again. Otherwise, the knee may get worse.
