Penn Badgley is a boy dad again!

The You star, 38, slyly announced the arrival of his twin boys, whom he shares with his wife Domino Kirke, in an Instagram video on Wednesday, Sept. 3 about an upcoming live event for his upcoming book Crushmore. The actor wrote the book with his Podcrushed cohosts Nava Kavelin and Sophie Ansari.

“Interrupting twin paternity leave to announce a live event @podcrushed at @symphonyspace Oct 14 NYC supporting the release of our book CRUSHMORE. Truly proud of this one. Please check it out! @podcrushed for all info,” he captioned his video.

In the clip, Badgley whispers as he announces the live event, before panning the camera to the feet of one of his newborns.

“There’s tiny little baby feet right there,” he says. “I don’t want to wake them up.”

Ahead of the little ones’ arrival, the newly minted mom of four, 41, shared a snap of her baby bump on her Instagram Stories with a peace hand sign emoji on top of it.

The new additions to the family will join the couple’s 4-year-old son, as well as Kirke’s son Cassius, 16, from a previous relationship.

While speaking with Access Hollywood on the red carpet for the premiere of the final season of Netflix’s You, the John Tucker Must Die actor opened up about the importance of raising boys, noting “pressure” that’s on him and his wife to “raise them well.”

“They’re identical boys, so now we have four boys,” he shared. “You know, I do mean this sincerely. It sounds a bit tacky, but the world needs more good men, so you know, pressure’s on us to raise them well.”

When asked to share his dad superpower, the Easy A actor replied, “Well, it’s my patience until I’ve lost it, and then I’m just as bad as anybody else. But, I can be very patient.”

During his appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Thursday, May 2, the Gossip Girl alum spoke to host Jimmy Fallon about everything from the latest season of the hit Netflix show to the impending arrival of his twins. He admitted that he hasn’t yet wrapped his head around having twins.

“I mean, it’s thrilling. Obviously, it’s a nice dose of reality, like every time I see the sonogram, it just feels so good,” he told Fallon. “Also, as an only child, that’s touching to see them together. They’re in there like it’s a hot tub.”

“There’s a sonogram of them almost like facing each other, just kind of like this,” he continued, demonstrating how the twins looked at each other. “I cannot fathom what it would be like to have somebody with you in there. You know what I mean? And, I’m going to be parenting them? I’m going to have to raise them.”

Badgley also shared how his other children feel about the new additions.

“So, the 4-year-old we have, he’s stoked because he’s just like he really wants to be a big brother,” he said. “The 16-year-old, he’s excited for us, but he’s also, like ‘I’m gonna leave in two years.’”
