The 49ers have jumped out to a 4-1 record to start the 2025 NFL season, but it has been anything but smooth sailing for the team so far.
From Nick Bosa and Brock Purdy’s injuries to San Francisco’s lack of rushing touchdowns and interceptions, there are plenty of areas for the 49ers Faithful to be concerned about.
NBC Sports Bay Area asked fans what worries them the most about the campaign so far, and their answer wasn’t surprising at all.
A whopping 81.1 percent of 49ers fans are most concerned by San Francisco’s injuries. They’ve played their first five games without star tight end George Kittle, who left Week 1 in the first quarter with a hamstring injury and subsequently was placed on injured reserve.
The 49ers also lost Bosa for the season with a torn ACL, and Purdy only has started two games as he deals with a nagging turf toe injury. Starting wide receivers Ricky Pearsall and Jauan Jennings didn’t play in Week 5, and the defensive line as a whole is dealing with a plethora of injuries.
Defensive tackle Kalia Davis broke his hand in Thursday night’s win over the Los Angeles Rams, Alfred Collins sprained his knee and Yetur Gross-Matos will miss some time with a strained hamstring from the game.
