“If you’re not welcomed, not listened to, quietly withdraw. Don’t make a scene. Shrug your shoulders and be on your way,” is what Brown posted after catching two passes for seven yards in the Eagles’ 31-25 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 4.
In four games so far, Brown has hauled in only 14 catches for 151 yards, which is a siginificant decrease from his typical numbers. It’s also worth notin that he was also barely target through the first two weeks of the season.

Brown’s issues with Kevin Patullo’s offense may need to wait to be resolved since he’ll be up against one of the best cornerbacks in the league in Broncos star Patrick Surtain II.
Surtain is fresh off a Week 4 dominating performance against Cincinnati Bengals’ top wideout Ja’Mar Chase. Surtain allowed one reception for eight yards in 13 coverage matchups with Chase, including zero receptions in 10 matchups in man-to-man coverage.
He’s now threatening to keep Brown, and his former Alabama teammate DeVonta Smith, on lockdown this Sunday.
“If they are frustrated, shoot, let them be frustrated,” Surtain said. “But I know they’re going to figure it out for sure. I mean, obviously, you know he’s a great player, so I know they’re gonna give him the ball, they’re going to fix it. But not next week.”
