Selena Gomez is giving fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse into her bachelorette trip to Mexico.

The 33-year-old star, who is engaged to Benny Blanco (real name Benjamin Joseph Levin), was joined by a group of friends for the pre-wedding festivities in Cabo San Lucas. On Thursday, Aug. 28, she shared photos from the celebration on Instagram with a series of photos of her friends enjoying the sea and sunshine.

She included several photos of her donning “Bride” theme clothing, including a veil with “bride to be” embroidered on it. Along with sporting bridal apparel, she also posted photos of herself wearing white mini sundresses as she embraced her role of the bride-to-be. She also shared a mirror selfie showing off her chic white bikini and white crochet coverup.

Gomez’s festive post included decorations for the weekend, like balloons that read, “Mrs. Levin,” and “Bride” above her bed.

Along with a few solo snaps, the actress added a few pictures of the friends she was celebrating, including one that showed the group of women smiling widely as they cruised on a boat, as well as another image of the group posing with their luggage.

In addition to her photos, she concluded her Instagram carousel with a video sharing highlights from the getaway. The video opened with a mariachi band serenading the women. It then cut to the group’s candlelit beach dinner, before showing Gomez and her friends watching Wedding Crashers on the sand.

She then featured several videos of her friends dancing and singing around the villa they were staying in, as well as on the boat. The singer also added clips of the women giggling with each other over meals at the villa and out for dinner at restaurants. She also used Katy Perry‘s song “Teenage Dream,” which Blanco co-wrote and co-produced, to accompany the video.

While Gomez and her squad celebrated in Mexico, Blanco, 37, was having his bachelor party in Las Vegas. The music producer shared several highlights from the bash on his Instagram Stories, including a photo of himself sitting at a large dining table with a view of the Vegas skyline in the background, punctuated by the Strat observation tower.

The table was covered with food, including a box of what appeared to be bagels from Sadelle’s. He wrote over the photo, “I’ll never forget this weekend,” also tagging Resorts World Las Vegas.

Other photos captured Blanco wearing a robe at a spa, which he described as “the most healing place on earth,” and eating some caviar.

Blanco also shared a snapshot of The Bear star Matty Matheson — who presumably took part in the bachelor celebration — holding a large stack of cash.

Gomez and Blanco announced their engagement in December 2024, after more than a year of dating. Blanco later revealed that he popped the question with a ring that the Only Murders in the Building star helped design — and that features a marquise diamond in a nod to her song “Good For You.”

“She showed me designs and I would always throw little hints,” he told Interview in February. “I’d be like, ‘Yeah, but if I ever made one, would you want it like this?’ And then she changed her mind halfway through.”

Blanco ended up removing the “huge baguettes” that were on each side of the ring’s main diamond when Gomez decided she didn’t “want something that big.” However, the sparklers won’t go to waste.

“We’re going to make earrings for her,” Blanco told the outlet. “She basically has three wedding rings.”

Earlier this month, Gomez expressed her excitement about the prospect of soon marrying Blanco.

“I couldn’t be more excited,” she said during an Aug. 6 appearance on Therapuss with Jake Shane. “I’m really, I just have never really felt so sure about something.”

She also shared that she and Blanco were busy with their “own personal endeavors,” but intended to dive into “all the nitty-gritty” of wedding planning once their schedules opened up.
