The mother-daughter duo posed together at the Diane von Furstenberg Awards ceremony, with Turlington, 56, wearing a silky, mixed-fabric black dress with a leg slit, paired with pointed-toe black shoes and her hair swept into a chic updo.

Burns, 21, opted for a brown and white polka-dot silk maxi dress with a train that trailed behind her on the carpet. The young model’s hair was also worn in an updo, with her bangs framing her face.

Each year, five awards are granted to women honorees who are active in their humanitarian efforts. The Diller-von Furstenberg Family Foundation provides grants to the non-profit of each honoree’s choice.
