Apparently embarassing one’s self on national TV gets tiring pretty quickly. The Green Bay Packers were doing pretty much anything they wanted, with the Dallas Cowboys looking listless once again, especially on third downs.
But a funny thing happened on the way to a blowout loss, special teams made two plays that incited a furious late-quarter rally to take the lead, 16-13, heading into the half.
After the Packers scored to take a 13-0 lead, they lined up for the extra point to stretch the lead to 14. Only reserve safety Juanyeh Thomas got through to block the attempt. The ball was secured by another backup safety, Markquese Bell, who raced it all the way in the opposite direction for the two-point play.
After the Cowboys weren’t able to do anything on their next possession, reserve linebacker Marist Liufau contributed the hit of the day, decleating the Packers punt returner to exhilarate the Cowboys’ sideline.
Then the offense finally joined the party. Starting at their own five-yard line with under six minutes remaining, Dallas found itself down by 11 before they finally opened up the offense. A quick pass to George Pickens moved them out the shadow of their own end zone.

Once on the Green Bay side of the field, back-to-back passes to Pickens included a tremendous sideline catch to set up 1st-and-goal. Prescott would sneak it in on a draw to pull the score to 13-9.
A few plays later, James Houston would strip sack Jordan Love and recover the ball himself. The Cowboys would immediately cash in, with Prescott finding Pickens in the back of the end zone for the score and a 16-13 lead.
