EXCLUSIVE: A royal insider says King Charles and Prince William have spoken about Prince Harry returning to the British Royal Family

King Charles and Prince William reportedly discussed welcoming Prince Harry back into Royal duties, with William becoming more receptive to the proposal, a former Royal insider has revealed.

Former Palace photographer Ian Pelham Turner told Irish Star that with Andrew now sidelined, William has grown more open to Harry’s potential return in some form – describing it as a kind of “trade-off.”

“My feeling at the moment is because of Charles’ cancer diagnosis that all these negotiations perhaps, for example, with Harry have been accelerated,” Pelham Turner said. It comes a year on from when Prince William left Kate Middleton in tears after cancelling New Year’s Eve plans.

Charles received an undisclosed cancer diagnosis in 2024 and continues to undergo treatment.

Pelham Turner suspects Charles and William held discussions to establish their terms and expedite efforts to bring Harry back into the royal circle.

The arrangement calls for Andrew, who was recently stripped of his royal titles, to leave Royal Lodge and move to Sandringham Estate, locatd more than 100 miles away from other Royal Family members.

To all appearances, Andrew faces exile to Norfolk, where Charles and Camilla reside when away from London. On one hand, Andrew’s proximity to Charles would allow closer monitoring.

However, Andrew’s departure could create an opening for Harry’s return, according to speculation.

Harry currently appears content with his American lifestyle, though he has hinted at feelings of homesickness and a desire to move back to the U.K.

Harry has lived in the U.S. for five years

Pelham Turner suggests that William is still harboring resentment towards his younger brother, Harry.

Pelham Turner said: “So I think why all of this has happened now is that William has been placated about Harry coming back into the fold by getting rid of Andrew.”

He further added: “There seems to be accelerations at the moment. One acceleration is bringing Harry back. And the second acceleration is getting rid of Andrew.”

This follows Kris Jenner’s sharp ten-word jab in the wake of Meghan and Harry’s party controversy. It’s being said Jenner made a veiled dig at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry after the couple’s representatives claimed they asked for photos to be deleted from her 70th birthday party.

In an interview with E! Entertainment: “My life is really focused on family and my friends.”
