âLate Showâ host Stephen Colbert mocked President Donald Trump on Tuesday for gifting Americans with a âroughâ 2025.
Colbert kicked off his show by highlighting a recent Gallup poll showing the presidentâs job approval rating was down to 36%, a new low for his second term, while his disapproval rating had jumped to 60%.
âWhich is why Trump has started to wear a new hat: âMore Popular Than Syphilis,ââ quipped Colbert while airing a mock graphic of the presidentâs MAGA hat. âPenicillin wonât help with him!â
Colbert also noted that Trump was âunderwater in every categoryâ before tossing to a recent YouGov poll that showed the presidentâs unpopularity on issues like the economy, health care, the Jeffrey Epstein investigation, education and the environment.
