Lainey Wilson is grabbing the mic tonight, only this time, it’s not to sing—it’s to join in on the ManningCast madness for Monday Night Football.

On Friday, December 12, Omaha Productions (the media company that produces ManningCast) posted a video of Eli Manning teasing Lainey’s upcoming spot on the show.

In the clip, Eli is on the phone with Lainey, asking her to join him and Peyton on the ManningCast for the Monday, December 15th, Pittsburgh Steelers-Miami Dolphins game. Only, instead of a real call with Lainey, the clip features snippets of the 33-year-old’s duet with ERNEST, “I Would If I Could,” in response to each of Eli’s questions. In short, fans loved the teaser.

“This is so good,” one fan remarked on Instagram. “Awesome and funny! Going to be great to get all these Louisiana folks together talking football,” someone else exclaimed. “My favorite country artist on my favorite football show!! I can’t wait,” another Instagrammer chimed in.

Given Lainey’s history hosting the CMA Awards with Peyton and Luke Bryan in 2024, and her shared Louisiana roots with the Manning brothers, her guest appearance on ManningCast makes perfect sense—and that’s before even considering the fact that her fiancé, Devlin “Duck” Hodges, is a former Steelers quarterback. Here’s hoping that, with all this overlap, Lainey’s guest spot showcases not only her football knowledge, but career snippets and wedding details, too.
Tune in to the fun tonight, live on ESPN2. ManningCast is also available for streaming on the ESPN app.
